Ao Sane Beach

Ao Sane is a smallish beach hidden away in Nai Harn.  It is a great little beach for family picnics under one of the trees lining the beach.

To get to Ao Sane beach you will  need transport. Head towards the Meridien Phuket Yacht Club hotel which is situated at the northern tip of Nai Harn and drive through the hotel grounds and then up over the hill. You will see parking at the top of the hill or if you're feeling brave you can drive down and park at the beach itself.  There is a restaurant at the beach but there are no sun loungers so you will need to take a picnic mat or towels to sit on.  Kids will love a beach picnic under one of the trees here before venturing out for the snorkelling which is superb at this 200m long beach.  You can use the toilets at the restaurants and there is also usually a shower available. The beach is a little rocky so there are no watersports here but again this is what makes it a great snorkelling spot.
