Bang Tao Beach

Bang Tao is a very long beach with the odd five star hotel dotted along the shore giving it a beautiful deserted feel. It's also one of the few beaches to offer horse riding.

Bang Tao beach has so much to offer by way of fabulous beach dining largely provided by the hotels whilst kids can enjoy a ride on a Banana Boat or aboard a jet ski.  Bang Tao beach also offers the unique opportunity to ride a horse along the beach via the Bang Tao riding club, visit our horse riding page for more details.  The beach also boasts some of Phuket's best sunsets so do visit later in the day and enjoy the view from your beach dining table. Bang Tao really is a very relaxed beach so come prepared with a beach mat or towel as any sunloungers are usually for hotel patrons only.

Bang Tao is the next beach north after Surin and you can reach it by driving north passed the Twin Palms hotel in Surin and follow the road round or by going through the Laguna resort.
