If you would rather not have the party at home then try one of the hotels with kids clubs who usually have a special party package. Friendship beach in Rawai is a fairly popular option located on the beach with a swimming pool they will also take care of the catering. Some of the nurseries including ABC do party packages where you can hire the nursery and staff for the event.

Food

Given that kids love Thai food, most parents opt for some Thai food and some pasta dishes. If you're having the party at home simply enlist a local restaurant. As always birthday cakes can be bought at places such as SP bakery who have a whole book of different creations from which you can choose and order from. Les Anges at Market Place (Tops) supermarket in Central Festival also have a nice range and don't forget Swensons if your child would prefer an ice-cream cake. If you would prefer to make your own, most ingredients can be found at Villa Market in Chalong.

Entertainment

For your next child’s birthday party why not hire a professional storyteller to magically make your child’s day even more special? Denise Bertrand www.denisebertrand.com has been telling stories to children for over 20 years. She custom designs a Story for your child based on his/her likes and dislikes and magically weaves this story into her show. She will also tell other stories that go along with the 'theme' of your party. Denise needs a minimum of two weeks notice to custom design a storytelling show. Mr. Sunny and his team of clowns are also fantastic fun for kids parties they work their magic with balloons and also do face painting. Balloons, streamers etc can all be bought at Tesco Lotus or Big C supermarkets. You can also pick up great little party bag gifts here.
