Schools and Nurseries in Phuket

Schools and nurseries in Phuket are quite varied in both price, structure and curriculums. Many expatriate parents opt to follow the curriculum of their home country, certainly this makes sense if you ever plan to return.  Parents with one partner being Thai and the other being an expat also have the option of two bi-lingual schools.

Whilst the number of schools in Phuket continues to grow, as does the number of nurseries. Parents often spend a day at the nursery to help little ones settle in before leaving them on their own. It's good to check that the nursery does have a licence and that your child will be covered by the nursery insurance (to do this the nursery will need a copy of your child's birth certificate and passport).
