Potty training was a breeze for us but I am slightly baffled by how we become dry at nights. We live in a very hot country and my little one has milk before bed and wakes for water in the night, I cannot deprive her of this as hydration is so important in the hot weather. So do we just put on the plastic sheets and hope that if she needs the toilet she will pop to the bathroom (without waking mom) and hope she goes back to sleep? Would love to hear other Mom's views on this. And Kirstie might know this where do I get plastic under sheets from?

Hi Davine,
I guess it depends on the child as our daughter sleeps right through and we don't give milk right before bed but about an hour before. I know some shops sell plastic type square sheets but don't know how effective they are.
Have you tried Index? If not let me ask some Bangkok Mums if they have them there.

Hi Davine,
I guess it depends on the child as our daughter sleeps right through although we do put nappies on they are 9/10 times dry.
I am going to get a plastic sheet from the UK when I go back. The baby shops do sell some plastic mat type bedding which is meant for that purpose but you'd need a few sheets of it and I'm not sure how effective it is.
Let me check with Bangkok Mums if there is a shop that sells up there.
Kirstie
Forgot to mention my daughter is 3.3 years
